Goal:
- Redesign the current website
- Add new functionalities that will help promote the organization’s services
- Build the new website on a platform that will lower maintenance cost and efforts
- Utilize a system that is easy to use for the website owners
Solution:
- Web design and development: we designed and developed a website that was instrumental in improving the way Santa Monica Bay presented their services, research and achievements, helping them build awareness about the organization and the importance of their services
- Usability: the navigation menu was designed to help visitors find quickly the information they were looking for. The navigation was a challenging area given the different types of audiences that Santa Monica Bay serves
- The website was built using a Content Management System (Joomla) that allowed Santa Monica Bay take ownership of website updates
Results:
- The new website made it easier for Santa Monica Bay staff to update the website and add new pages and information
